About the Author
Joni Scott
Joni Scott lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. She became an author later in life and quite accidentally when she wrote about her grandparent’s adventurous journey and romance. This dabble with creative fiction was published as Whispers Through Time in 2020. Then Joni wrote another novel, The Last Hotel while in lockdown in Italy. Since then, she has continued writing. She released her contemporary romance, Colour comes to Tangles in 2022 and Time Heal my Heart, the sequel to Whispers Through Time in 2023.
In 2024, she completed the Time trilogy of historical fiction with the poignant novel, Last Time Forever. Set at the time of the building of the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge it is a real treat for Sydney lovers.
In 2025, Joni rewrote her first two historical novels and self-published them under new names and with beautiful new faces thanks to wondrous cover designer James@ GoOnwrite.com.
In real life Joni is Joanne but increasingly her nick name of Joni is taking over! She is a math and science tutor. After graduation from Sydney University, she worked as an organic chemist and biochemist in hospitals and industry. Later she home-schooled her two children through to year 12 and then embarked on another career running her tutoring business and also working at Kip Mc Grath on the Sunshine Coast.
